Sixteen lots of roadworks will be carried out in Hull over the next few weeks and some key roads in the city centre will be impacted. Spring Bank, Perth Street West, and Manor Road will be among the streets affected by lane and road closures. Works are being carried out by Connexin, National Highways, Yorkshire Water, Hutchison 3G Limited, Northern Gas Networks, Network Rail, Northern Powergrid, and Hull City Council. Fortunately, many of these roadworks are temporary and only expected to last a few weeks. From May 1, 2020, until May 1, 2025, works will be carried out for the A63 Improvement scheme involving a full infrastructure change. There will be Lane and road closures until completion of the scheme. National Highways is responsible for the works. A63 improvement scheme – Commercial Road. From October 26, 2021 until April 30, 2024. Commercial Road will be closed to enable the safety of contractors working on the scheme. National Highways is responsible for the works. A63 Castle Street – between Daltry Street and Roger Millward Way. From March 10, 2024, until April 6, 2024, there will be overnight closures to complete work at Market Place and Queen Street junction and other essential works. A63 – Queen Street – from March 11, 2024, until May 10, 2024, there will be a full closure of Queen Street on the slipway meaning traffic will have no access onto the A63 westbound.
